Somm Cigars has announced it is shipping its BDX Corona Gorda to retailers this week. This new size adds a classic 5 5/8 x 46 vitola to the BDX line.
“The Corona Gorda is one of my favorite sizes, and I am extremely happy with how the blend is showcased in this format. I originally made these for myself as a birthday present last year, and after a few people tried them and fell in love with the profile, I decided to release an extremely limited production run this year. Blink, and you’ll miss them!” said Vlada Stojanov, owner of Somm Cigars, in a press release.
The Somm BDX is highlighted by a Mexican San Andres wrapper aged three years. The binder is Nicaraguan Viso Jalapa, which is also aged three years. The fillers consist of two year-aged Honduran Broadleaf, three-year-aged Nicaraguan Viso Jalapa, and Mexican San Andres, also aged three years. The Somm BDX is produced at the Fabrica Centroamericana de Tabaco S.A. facility in Danlí, Honduras.
The Somm BDX Corona Gorda has a limited production of only 2600 cigars. It will be available in packs of ten, with an MSRP of $13 each or $130 for the pack.
