Espinosa Premium Cigars has announced the 601 La Bomba Warhead X. Warhead X is the tenth installment of Espinosa’s successful limited edition Warhead series.
“This year’s bomb is very special. We began teasing it at La Zona Palooza. My son worked tirelessly on the design and presentation for this release, the entire sales team has been chomping at the bit to get these to retailers. Personally, I am very happy that the PCA is in March, and we didn’t have to wait to launch the Warhead in July as usual. I have no doubt it will be the talk of the show,” said Erik Espinosa in a press release.
Said Hector Alfonso, “It’s one of several new limited cigars we are releasing at the show, but I must admit that this one is special. It was our first limited release, and our fans just love this cigar. With the whole team pumped up for this release, I wanted to add a little wrinkle from the previous nine releases and decided on an oval shape toro.”
The 601 La Bomba Warhead X is packaged in a large wall-mountable, gold-painted “bomb” containing ten cigars. The Warhead X is a 6 x 55 Toro Oval made with the filler, binder, and broadleaf wrapper grown in Nicaragua. This year’s run of Warhead X will be 5,000 boxes. The Warhead X will retail for $16 MSRP, with the ten-count box at $160. The Warhead X was blended by Espinosa Premium Cigars and is made at the San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua.
While the Warhead X is expected to be showcased at the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, the company is currently taking orders ahead of the show with plans to ship the first 1,000 boxes.
