At the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Wildfire Cigar Company is introducing The Hook. This is the second release of a three-part series from Fabrica Centroamericana de Tabaco S.A. (FTC) in Honduras, with the first release being The Intro. The initial release of the series, The Intro, was also produced out of FTC.
In a press release announcing The Hook, Wildfire Cigar Company founder Jeremy McDonald explained, “This series plays like a song. The first was the intro (to grab your attention), and now we are at the hook (something memorable that you can sing along to). This cigar was designed to be a very approachable smoking experience for the novice to experienced palate with a pleasant and memorable finish.”
The cigar features a Honduran wrapper from the Jamastran Valley over an Ecuadorian Connecticut binder. It also boasts fillers consisting of Dominican, San Andres, and Pennsylvania tobaccos. Furthermore, it is available in one size—a 6 x 46 vitola. The Hook comes in ten-count boxes priced at $12.00 SRP/cigar. Finally, a total production of 500 boxes is planned.
The 2024 PCA Trade Show will open on March 23 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Soon after, Wildfire Cigar Company will begin shipping The Hook.
