At the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, De Los Reyes Cigars introduced a limited edition cigar called Don Julio Year of the Dragon. This cigar pays homage to the current year in the Chinese Zodiac, the Year of the Dragon. It was previewed at ProCigar 2024, where a special humidor containing it was auctioned off.

The Don Julio Year of the Dragon contains a dark Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over an undisclosed secret blend of aged Dominican Tobaccos. The cigar comes in one size – 52 x 6 Toro presented in 24-count boxes.

The Don Julio line pays homage to Don Julio Samuel Reyes Fermin, a third-generation member of the Reyes family who was known as one of the industry’s legendary growers. Don Julio is De Los Reyes Cigars’ most premium line. The company also notes that De Los Reyes CEO Nirka Reyes was born during the Year of the Dragon.
