At the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, J.C. Newman unveiled the LeRoy Neiman Collector’s Edition 2024 “Left Bank Café.” This is the second installment of J.C. Newman’s LeRoy Neiman Collector’s Edition series, an annual series that pays homage to the artworks of LeRoy Neiman. The project is being done in collaboration with the Neiman family, the LeRoy Neiman, and the Janet Byrne Neiman Foundation. J.C. Newman and the Foundation will donate all profits from this collaboration to support arts education in Tampa’s public schools.
The 2024 edition is the second installment in the Collector’s Edition series. Each year, a new limited edition cigar showcasing the artwork of LeRoy Neiman will be released. Neimann was a well-known cigar enthusiast. This year’s artwork is entitled “Left Bank Café”. This selection was inspired by the fact that the 2024 Summer Olympic Games are taking place in Paris, France. “Left Bank Café” depicts a scene of people enjoying cigars and spirits in a Paris Café.
The Collector’s Edition 2024 comes in a 7 x 50 vitola. The blend is identical to the 2023 blend, featuring an Ecuadorian Havana Rosado wrapper, a U.S. Florida-grown binder, and a combination of Nicaraguan and U.S. tobaccos. The cigars are produced in Tampa at J.C. Newman’s El Reloj factory.
There were 12,000 cigars produced that are packaged in 600 cabinets of 20 cigars. Pricing comes in at $22.00/cigar SRP.
The Collector’s Edition 2023 was inspired by LeRoy Neiman’s ‘Irish-American Bar’ painting and was a 6 x 52 Toro.
J.C. Newman expects the LeRoy Neiman Collector’s Edition 2024 to ship in time for the Paris Olympics, which open July 26, 2024.
