During the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, El Titán de Bronze introduced a new blend of its Redemption line, which is one of the brands created and owned by the boutique factory located in Little Havana, Miami. Redemption was featured at the General Cigar Company PCA 2024 booth. Shortly before the 2024 PCA Trade Show, it was announced that General Cigar would distribute El Titán de Bronze’s Redemption line.
The new Redemption blend will be available full-time, but in limited quantities. Therefore, General Cigar initiated a selection process for those retail shops that would offer it.
The brand features a sun-grown Ecuadorian Habano Claro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder from Estelí. The fillers are Nicaraguan tobaccos from Estelí and Jalapa. Produced in ten-count boxes, Redemption will come in three formats (Corona, Robusto, and Toro).
Redemption is rolled by eight certified level 9 Cuban expatriate cigar makers and four comparably certified Nicaraguan cigar makers. Level 9 is the highest level that a cigar maker can achieve.
In a press release, Sandy Cobas, owner of El Titán de Bronze, said, “Redemption embodies my family’s legacy and it’s an invitation to explore our way of crafting cigars. This is the first cigar in our almost thirty-year history that will be distributed for us, and it’s an incredibly special moment for me, my family and our cigar makers. We’ve worked hard over the years and through all the ups and downs, we’ve stayed true to our way of making cigars — one cigar at a time in very small quantities. Knowing that cigar smokers all over the country will now have the chance to experience the work of El Titán de Bronze makes it feel like we’ve finally arrived.”
Redemption is slated to ship in July 2024.
