Alec Bradley will launch a new sub-brand called Safe Keepings. Safe Keepings will feature cigars crafted from blends recorded in the Alec Bradley Founder’s blend book.

In a press release announcing Safe Keepings, Bradley Rubin, brand ambassador of Alec Bradley, said, “When we felt the time was right, we opened the blend book and started to do a deep dive on the blend recipes inside. Together with the team, we selected the first blend we wanted to roll out. Alec Bradley Safe Keepings honors the blend legacy of the Alec Bradley cigar brand while giving us the opportunity to move forward with resources we never would have been able to access before. Alec and I are extremely proud of what Safe Keepings represents, and that’s a nod to the past and a glance into the future of the brand.”

The first release of Safe Keepings is a Nicaraguan puro highlighted by Nicaraguan Habano for the wrapper and binder. The filler consists of Jalapa, Condega, and Estelí Criollo ’98 tobaccos. Presented in 24-count boxes, Safe Keepings is available in four sizes (Corona, Robusto, Toro, Gordo). Safe Keepings is a regular production line.

One surprise is who is producing the cigar. Oliva is producing safe Keepings at its Tabolisa factory in Nicaragua. This marks the first Alec Bradley cigar produced at Oliva.

Alec Bradley Safe Keepings arrives on retail shelves in June. Forged Cigar Company distributes Alec Bradley.
