PCA 2024 Quesada Cigars

The 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show was quite a special one for Quesada Cigars. The company is amid a significant milestone as it is celebrating 50 years since it opened its first factory, Manufactura de Tabacos S.A. (MATSA). Unsurprisingly, there is a special anniversary cigar to mark this milestone. The Quesadas first unveiled the 50th Anniversary Cigar at Procigar 2024, but PCA 2024 would be the place retailers would get the opportunity to order this limited edition cigar.

For Quesada Cigars, the past five trade shows (there was no show in 2020 due to the pandemic) have afforded the opportunity to celebrate anniversary milestones:

The Quesada 50th Anniversary features a Habano Ecuador wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Peru. There are two sizes – both in ten-count boxes: Toro Prensado  (6 1/4 x 56, SRP $17.00) and Perfecto (6 x 60, MSRP $19.00/cigar). A total of 2,200 boxes of the Prensado and 200 boxes of the Perfecto will be released. This cigar has shipped to retailers.

In addition to the 50th Anniversary, Quesada showcased its annual Oktoberfest release for 2024.  The Oktoberfest 2024 uses the same blend as the Oktoberfest 10th Anniversary. Produced at the TABADEX factory in the Dominican Republic, Oktoberfest 2024 features a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Dominican binder and fillers. Oktoberfest 2024 is available in five sizes. The Uber, Bavarian, and Das Boot sizes are returning. The Kaiser Ludwig (Box Pressed Toro) is returning, and the Kugel Figurado will be an event-only cigar. All five sizes are available in ten-count boxes (total production of 500 boxes/size) except the Kugel, which will be in ten-count bundles (total production of 100 bundles). The release is targeted for July.
