The 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show would not be complete without a visit to the Toscano Cigars booth. Toscano Cigars the Italian brand famous for its fire-cured cigars. Given Toscano Cigars are pretty different from most, it is always interesting how Toscano combines an experiential and educational component in its booth. This year, the highlight was the cigar roller at the booth. At the same time, Toscano always has something new at the PCA Trade Show, the Toscano Italia. This is a cigar that truly pays homage to Toscano’s Italian roots.
Toscano is known for using Kentucky Fire-Cured tobaccos grown in the United States and Italy. The Toscano Italia is different because all of the blend’s tobaccos originate from Italy. Specifically, the tobaccos come from the regions of Valtiberina, Tuscany, and Benevento, Campania. The Valtiberina tobacco is used for the wrapper and is a small component of the filler. Meanwhile, the Benevento tobacco makes up the majority of the filler. Packaged in 30-count boxes, the Italia comes in one size – a 6 3/10 x 46 perfecto. The Toscano Italia is available at a $7.00 SRP.
