C.L.E. Cigar Company has announced Eiroa Exclusivo Regional Bulgaria. As the name indicates, Exclusivo Regional is a series of regional exclusives. In this case, Bulgaria is receiving the Eiroa Classic blend offered in the company’s signature 11/18 vitola. The Eiroa Exclusivo Regionales Bulgaria will launch with an event on June 29th, at 7:30pm Bulgarian Time, at Best Cigars in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
The Eiroa Exclusivo Regional Bulgaria was born from a meeting and instant friendship between C.L.E. owner Christian Eiroa and Best Cigars owner Harry Dulendarov. Harry soon convinced Christian to create an international Exclusivo offering within the C.L.E. portfolio.
Christian introduced the 11/18 size during his Camacho days. The vitola is cylindrical, with tapering from both ends, but it is not tapered as narrowly as a perfecto or salomon. The size is named for the birthday of Eiroa’s mother (November 18th). The blend is based on the Eiroa Classic, which is a Honduran puro. A slight tweak was made to the blend to account for the 11/18 shape. Christian believes that the blend tweak and the new 11/18 size add a new dimension to the original Eiroa Classic blend.
In a press release Christian Eiroa said, “Harry Dulendarov is a great friend and an industry leader in Bulgaria. Owns several stores and imports and distributes various brands. I am honored that he approached us to create a regional exclusive for Bulgaria.”
Production is limited to 150 20-count boxes.
