Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust (DTT) has announced details about the StillWell Star Holiday Y2024. Owner and Master Ligador Steve Saka has said the Y2024 will bring back the same blend as the Y2023 release.

StillWell Star is a line of cigars in the Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust portfolio that incorporates pipe tobacco into the blend. StillWell Star is an annual, limited edition line incorporating mild, aromatic “holiday” seasonal pipe tobaccos. This is the third consecutive year for the StillWell Star Holiday blend.

The Y2023 consists of an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper over a Mexican binder. The fillers include Cornell & Diehl Red Virginia, Golden Virginia, and Cavendish burley pipe tobacco. Y2023 comes in one size – a 6 x 52 Toro packaged in 13-count boxes.

Saka said he couldn’t release a new blend for Y2024 because he ran out of time to deliver a worthy blend. Saka emphasizes this wasn’t due to the quality of any of the tobaccos but rather to building a combination that worked.

Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust has said production for StillWell Star Holiday Y2024 will be based on retailers’ pre-orders, which close July 26.
