Forged Cigar Company has quietly rolled out a new offering under La Gloria Cubana known as the Gran Legado. This new limited edition cigar is a massive 7 3/4 x 62 perfecto format and was inspired by another La Gloria Cubana cigar, the popular La Gloria Cubana Serie R. For the Gran Legado, the goal was to deliver a richer, fuller taste. The blend features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over higher primings of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos.
Gran Legado translates to “Great Legacy.” This cigar was created at the El Credito Factory, a “factory within a factory” located at General Cigar Dominicana in the Dominican Republic. This is where much of the La Gloria Cubana brand is rolled. The cigars are handmade by 20 of the factory’s most seasoned rollers and bunchers. Each member of the Gran Legado team has 15+ years of experience working with La Gloria Cubana. In addition, each cigar has the signature of one of the Gran Legado team members.
The Gran Legado comes in ten-count boxes and has a $14.99 MSRP per cigar.
