Carlito Fuente has met many mainstream celebrities throughout his life, and one celebrity that he has struck a friendship up with is Kid Rock. On Episode 312 of the Prime Time Show, Carlito reflected on that friendship.

Kid Rock, also known as Robert James Ritchie, is a well-known mainstream celebrity. He is also a fan of the Arturo Fuente Hemingway and wanted to meet the creator. Eventually, through his management team, he was able to meet Carlito and the two struck up a friendship.

“It reminds me of me growing up,” said Carlito, referring to Kid Rock. “He’s a good man and a dear friend,” added Carlito. While Kid Rock has built a “bad-boy” persona, Carlito has said there is another side to Kid Rock.

On April 27th, 2024, Carlito Fuente had a gala 70th birthday celebration. To Carlito’s surprise, Kid Rock not only came to his party but stayed for the duration of the evening and was one of the last to leave. The evening included an impromptu performance of Kid Rock and Carlito’s longtime friend, musician Arturo Sandoval. There was good-natured ball-busting, including a exchange when Carlito was unhappy that Kid Rock was drinking Bud Light as his birthday party.

Perhaps what is most interesting thing the generosity Kid Rock showed taking care of all of the staff people who worked Carlito’s party.
