Southern Draw Decennium

In June, Southern Draw Cigars informed retailers about Decennium, a cigar meant to commemorate the company’s 10th anniversary. While the company is known to make its brands out of AJ Fernandez’s factory, this is different in that it is made at El Titan de Bronze in Miami, Florida. Decennium will now have a ship and release date of August 28, 2024. The name Decennium is Latin for “decade.”

The blend features a Brazilian Arapiraca (known as “Green Gold” in the municipality that produces this wrapper) wrapper over a Dominican Criollo ’98 binder and all Nicaraguan fillers. Decennium is being released in one size—a 6 x 46 Lonsdale. It is being sold in three-packs, with pricing set at $15.00 per cigar. A total of 5,000 three-packs have been produced.

“Having personally known Ms. Sandy (Cobas) since her factory opened, smoking a plethora of El Titan de Bronze Gold lanceros and applauding each of their award-winning cigars. DECENNIUM was originally commissioned as an exclusive by one of our oldest retail partners, but things change, and we are honored to now share the cigar with all our valued retail partners (their most loyal customers), and to extend an option for future production of this blend to our supporting retail partners,” said Robert Holt in a press release.

This release also has a charitable component. Southern Draw is donating a portion of the sales to a charity that is near and dear to Ms. Sandy Cobas based in Little Havana. Southern Draw has chosen to keep the charity confidential for the time being, focusing on retail partners participating in this release.
