Viaje has announced a trio of White Label Project (WLP) releases for August 2024: Blunderbuss, Dark Matter, and Szivar EL.
According to Viaje, the Blunderbuss and Dark Matter were rolled a year ago. On social media, the company said, “Over a year ago a couple of our most prized blends were rolled. Time kept ticking and these cigars were left to age. A packed slate prevented their release until an opening was found. That time is now. Blunderbuss and Dark Matter are finally set for release. Two incredible blends, aged to perfection.”
Both Blunderbuss and Dark Matter are 6 x 56 Toros presented in 25-count boxes. Blunderbuss (SRP $10.96/cigar) features a Corojo wrapper. Meanwhile, Dark Matter (SRP $11.36/cigar) features a San Andres Maduro wrapper.
Szivar EL is more mysterious. It’s a 5 1/2 x 50 (SRP $10.24/cigar) box-pressed Robusto that has been shipped to select retailers.
The Viaje White Label Project (WLP) is a mechanism that is used for experimental blends, mash-ups, and cigars made in error. These cigars are usually supplied in bundles with plain white and black colored bands. Viaje often uses this vehicle to test out future blends and see if they are good enough for their own line.
Viaje WLP Viaje Blunderbuss, Dark Matter, and Szivar EL have already arrived on retail shelves.
