Oveja Negra Brands has begun informing retailers of a new small batch limited release under its Black Works Studio brand, Intergalactic Event Horizon.
Intergalactic Event Horizon follows up the original Black Works Studio Intergalactic from 2022. In comparison, the original Intergalactic used a Sumatra wrapper, while Intergalactic Event Horizon uses a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper. The remainder of the blend is an Ecuadorian Habano binder and all Nicaragua fillers. Presented in 20-count boxes, the cigars come in three sizes: Robusto, Toro, and Petite Corona. Pricing ranges from $11.00 to $12.00 based on size. It is produced at Fabrica Oveja Negra.
Event Horizon is a concept in astrophysics that describes a boundary which events cannot affect an observer.
“We are bringing out the dark side of Intergalactic with “Event Horizon.” The Event Horizon is wrapped in Pennsylvania Broadleaf, which completely changes everything from the original 2022 Sumatra Intergalactic. This cigar is bold with flavors of dark fruits, raisins, earth, and star anise. The long finish is a mix of pepper and chili spice, followed by a hint of sweetness. The Event Horizon is extremely complex and very well balanced,” commented creator and Fabrica Oveja Negra partner James Brown in a press release.
Oveja Negra Brands will begin shipping Intergalactic Event Horizon to U.S. retailers this week and to European retailers in the upcoming weeks.
