El Rey del Mundo is teaming up with JRE Tobacco Company to release King of the World. This is a limited edition cigar that features 100% Honduran tobaccos from the JRE Tobacco Farm. JRE is best known for growing authentic Corojo and is also very well known for its Aladino brand of cigars.
Produced at Fabrica Puros de Aladino in Honduras, King of the World features a Habano wrapper, Corojo binder, and Habano filler tobaccos. The cigar is available in one size – a 6 x 50 Toro. Production was limited to a total of 2,000 16-count boxes. Pricing comes in at $9.99 per cigar.
King of the World is the English translation of the Spanish “El Rey Del Mundo.”
“It was an honor to collaborate with the renowned Aladino family to create this Limited-Edition for El Rey del Mundo at the Aladino family factory in Honduras,” said Cory Beardsley, Brand manager for El Rey del Mundo in a press release. “El Rey del Mundo is a legendary name in the cigar industry, and this King of the World Limited-Edition offers a casually mellow yet complex smoking experience that will captivate enthusiasts and newcomers alike.”
El Rey Del Mundo is distributed by Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s (STG) Forged Cigar Company. It’s the second collaboration between JRE and STG. Last year, the two collaborated for Punch Golden Era. It’s the first time El Rey del Mundo has collaborated with JRE. This is the first time El Rey del Mundo has collaborated with Aladino — makers of Aladino Cigars (among others).
