At InterTabac 2024 in Dortmund, Germany, Fratello Cigars will unveil a new line: the Fratello Bianco Nero. While it’s made in Germany, the cigar will be available in November at U.S. retailers.
“We wanted to create something that pays tribute to the (original) Fratello Bianco while introducing a new level of intensity and sophistication,” said Omar de Frias, founder of Fratello Cigars, in a press release. “The Bianco Nero is more than just a cigar—it is an experience that encapsulates the art of contrast, balancing complexity and richness with each draw.”
The company describes Fratello Bianco Nero as “a bold reimaging” of the Fratello Bianco blend. Like the original Fratello Bianco, the Bianco Nero uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper but features a different blend. This includes an Indonesian binder and fillers from Nicaragua. The cigar will come in one size – a 6 x 58 box-pressed perfecto known as a Reserva. Production of the Bianco Nero comes from the Joya de Nicaragua facto, which is – the same as where the original Bianco is produced. The cigars will come in ten-count boxes. Pricing is set at $15.00 SRP/cigar.
Fratello Cigars has an official release date of November 29, 2024, for the Bianco Nero.
