Cavalier Genève The Green Jacket

Cavalier Genève Cigars has announced it will release a limited edition cigar known as The Green Jacket. This cigar will be offered to select retailers and part of the company’s international distribution on an annual basis.

The Green Jacket was originally released as a store exclusive to The Vault, located in Idaho. It pays homage to the Masters Championship golf tournament, in which the winner is awarded a green jacket.

“The decision was made to offer this exclusive release to our esteemed retail partners as well as part of our international distribution after the global interest generated with the original release for The Vault in Idaho,” said Sebastien Decoppet, Founder of Cavalier Genève Cigars, in a press release. “The cigar resonated with a considerable part of our partners and generated general interest globally. After discussions with The Vault in Idaho following the inquiries that we were getting, we agreed to make this a yearly limited production available to select retailers and international distributors of Cavalier through a pre-order system exclusively.”

The Green Jacket is an extension of Cavalier’s Inner Circle brand and features a green-font version of the band. The 7 x 47 Churchill-size cigar comes in an 11-count box. Ten of the cigars are the 2025 blend. This was the 11th cigar found in the original release of The Value in Idaho. This time, there is an 11th cigar, but it is a future 2026 blend. The 11th cigar has a plain factory band to differentiate it from the other ten. Pricing comes in at $198.00.

The blend consists of a Jamastran Claro wrapper over a Habano wrapper from Honduras. The fillers feature Sumatra, Honduran, Nicaraguan, and Paraguayan tobacco. The blend of the bonus 11th cigar blend has not been disclosed.

Cavalier Genève Cigars opened pre-orders for the 2025 iteration early this month and will be closing the session on October 31st. No boxes will be produced after the deadline.

“It is important to note that we will not be taking any new orders after October 31st of 2024 for the 2025 release and this product will not be available to any retailer or international distributor that will not have communicated their orders by that date. This decision is to ensure that all products will be rolled with enough time to rest properly in anticipation of the release next year,” added Decoppet.

The cigars are shipping at the end of March 2025. At a glance, here is a look at The Green Jacket:
