Chip Goldeen is Cayman Cigar Company’s new Executive Vice President of Sales. The move is effective December 16, 2024.
Cayman Cigar Company was founded by Granger Haugh and John Lemuel “Lem” Hurlston. Based in the Cayman Islands, the company donates 100% of its net profits to charities. These charities support entrepreneurship for marginalized communities, American veterans, and addiction recovery efforts.
Goldeen is a well-known figure in the cigar industry. He spent over 24 years at Ashton Distributors where he served as Vice President of Sales. More recently he spent over three years at El Septimo Cigars where he served as the cigar company’s Vice President.
“We are thrilled to welcome Chip,” said Scott Haugh, Director of Cayman Cigar Company. “His extensive experience and proven success in building leading cigar brands make him an invaluable addition, and we’re excited about the knowledge and expertise he will bring to the company.”
Goldeen added, “Our goal is to introduce great-tasting premium cigars, with excellent quality construction, at a superb value to our customers. We also plan to build a professional sales force and introduce merchandising and marketing programs that are friendly and profitable for our retail partners.”
