CLE Cigar Company has informed retailers it is removing five lines from its product catalog. The lines removed are:
- CLE Azabache
- CLE Signature
- CLE Prieto
- CLE Chele
- EIROA Jamastran
C.L.E. stopped short of using the term “discontinued.” Instead, they informed retailers that if a special order is placed for five boxes of a specific size, they will produce the cigars. Essentially, these cigars will be made to order.
In an email communication to retailers, C.L.E. said: “The packaging change for Asylum 13 in 2023 and for CLE in 2024 increased our demand beyond our capacity thus creating a shortage in production for our core cigars which has forced us to make some hard decisions. Therefore, starting March 5th, we will be removing (from our product catalog) the following cigars.”
