Lure Cigars Oscuro

Lure Cigars has announced The Oscuro. This is the third core line in Lure Cigars’ portfolio, joining the Corojo and Habano lines.

The Lure Oscuro features a dark  Nicaraguan-grown Oscuro wrapper described as a double Maduro over a binder from Estelí. The fillers are all Nicaraguan and incorporate Ometepe ligero.  Lure Oscuro comes in two sizes: The Big Joe (a 6 x 52 Toro) and The Lil’ Joe (a 5 x 52 Robusto). The name Joe refers to the fact that these cigars are meant to “wake up your palate” any time of the day. Both sizes come in 10-count orange paper bundles with Boveda humidification and a limited edition sticker.

“Friends that I’ve smoked with are aware that I frequently like to smoke bold-flavored, stronger cigars. It was no surprise that they expected the first cigars I released back in late 2023 to be powerhouses. Over the past year, it’s been humbling to receive the amount of positive feedback from fellow cigar enthusiasts sharing their experiences of enjoying the complexity and nuances offered in our previous releases. But lately, I’ve been craving an even bolder cigar that can be enjoyed with a really strong cup of black coffee, one that will also resonate on a fatigued palate, winding down after a heavy savory meal, or hold up to a dram of high-proof spirit. When sampling this Oscuro blend, I knew that this would be the cigar that met those expectations. It is a strong cigar, yet balanced,” said owner and Founder Lou Cross in a press release.

The Oscuro is shipping the week of 2/28/2025.
