The Fat Tony, a new size to Lure Cigars’ Corojo Oscuro line will be showcased at the 2025 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show,
The Fat Tony is a 5 x 54 Robusto Grande cigar. It has a double-fermented Corojo Oscuro wrapper and Estelí binder, like the rest of the Corojo Oscuro line. The fillers are sourced from Estelí and Jalapa, and they also include ligero from Ometepe, Nicaragua. The Fat Tony is a regular production size. It is packaged in ten-count sealed wax packs wrapped in red heavyweight craft stock, along with Boveda humidification. Production takes place at Tabacalera Pages Nicaragua S.A. in Nicaragua.
“I love the Big Lou Toro and Lil’ Tony Robusto, but when smoking the samples of this size, the blend just fit so well in this vitola. It’s like donning your favorite pair of time-softened weekend corduroys with the tag that says ‘HUSKY’ on the pocket,” said Lure owner Lou Cross III.
The Lure Corojo Oscuro Fat Tony will be showcased at the 2025 PCA. However, there will be a soft launch on April 1st at Small Batch Cigars. Lure Cigars says The Fat Tony will be available nationwide beginning May 15.
The 2025 PCA Trade Show opens on April 12, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
