A trio of charity auctions associated with the Meerapfel Création de Coeur line raised $75,000.00 for charity. The auctions were private events, with two held in Miami and one in New York City.
According to Meerapfel Cigar, each Création de Coeur chest auctioned (one per event) raised a minimum of $18,000.00. The money raised is being donated to a charitable NGO focused on combating poverty and food insecurity.
Création de Coeur (Creation from the Heart) is a brand designed to support charitable organizations. The Meerapfel family and the Meerapfel Cigar Company finance this line’s development, production, and related costs. The specific details of the blend have not been revealed. Meerapfel Cigar indicates that it has been crafted from the “Pyramides d’entraide” vitola, which measures 5 1/4 x 52.
“It brings joy to our hearts knowing that these cigars will significantly improve the life of thousands of children who are fighting starvation and extreme poverty. We not only believe but are reassured that by sharing our passion, opening our hearts and our resources, we can make a real difference in the lives of others. We are moved by the generosity and warmth of the noble donors,” commented Reinhard Pohorec, Vice President of Meerapfel Cigars, in a press release.
