Carrillo La Historia Silk

At the 2025 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show, E.P. Carrillo will launch the La Historia Silk. The La Historia Silk is a limited edition cigar blended by Lisette Perez-Carrillo, the daughter of Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. Silk has gone through a collaborative process to determine the final blend. The cigar is intended to be a tribute to women who shape the cigar industry—consumers, creators, and storytellers alike.

E.P. Carrillo has said three wrappers are being sampled by a select retailer and a woman cigar enthusiast to determine what the final release is. The final selection will be revealed at the 2025 PCA Show. These wrappers include:

  • Mexican San Andrés
  • Ecuadorian Connecticut
  • Ecuadorian Havana

Regardless of the wrapper selected, the cigar will be a rounded 6 x 52 Toro scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2025. A total of 500 ten-count boxes will be produced. Pricing is still to be determined.

“La Historia Silk is deeply personal—it’s a cigar that honors the women in my life and in our community,” said Lissette Perez-Carrillo, co-owner of E.P. Carrillo, in a press release. “We wanted to create something elegant yet powerful, and we knew the final blend had to be chosen by the very women it was inspired by.”

The 2025 PCA Trade Show opens April 12, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
