At the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Constella USA will launch The Machinist. This is a new full-line cigar from Luciano Cigars, created to honor the working men and women who keep the lights on, the engines running, and the country moving forward. Constella is the new joint venture between Luciano Cigars and Empresa Madeirense de Tabacos SA.
The Machinist is inspired by the life and legacy of Jack Beaver—a machinist and grandfather of Josh Beaver, National Key Account Manager at Constella USA. Mr. Beaver is further described as a family man and a quiet example of perseverance, grit, and generosity.
“My grandfather never asked for recognition—but he earned respect,” said Josh Beaver in a press release. “I believe this cigar is a tribute to his generation and to everyone who wakes up early, clocks in, and gives more than they take. If he were here, he wouldn’t brag about it—he’d just light one up after a long day and smile.”
The cigar features a Mexican San Andrés Viso priming for the wrapper. In addition, the blend uses a double binder of Ecuadorian Sumatra Viso and Indonesian Sumatra. As for the fillers, they are a blend of Pennsylvania, Dominican, and dark air-cured South African tobaccos. Notably, the cigar is available in three sizes, with each size carrying its own unique significance:
- Gordo: 6 x 60 – Built for endurance, like long shifts and heavy lifts
- Toro: 6 x 52 – A classic shape for dependable hands
- Magnum: 5 1/4 x 54 – A compact force, delivering precision and power
“We honor history not as something behind us, but as the foundation beneath us,” says Luciano Meirelles, Founder of Luciano Cigars and Co-Founder of Constella USA. “The Machinist is a tribute to the men and women whose hands shaped this country—and to those still shaping it today. Machinists, welders, farmers, truckers—people who carry on a legacy of resilience and purpose. They don’t just build—they sustain.”
The 2025 PCA Trade Show opens April 12, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
