Gurkha Dragonfly

At the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Gurkha will introduce the Dragonfly to the U.S. market. Previously, the Dragonfly was an exclusive to the European market.

The Dragonfly consists of an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and a Sumatra binder. The fillers are a combination of Dominican, Criollo ’98, and Nicaraguan Estelí tobacco. The cigar is a 6 1/4 x 52 Toro, and each comes in an individual glass tube. The tubes come in 20-count boxes. The packaging for the U.S. is new. It features a signature sticker that matches the cigar band and includes a barcode instead of the white tape found on the European version.

“The Dragonfly is an apex combination of premier tobacco from the most respected tobacco-producing regions in the world, resulting in a truly first-class cigar,” remarked Juan Lopez, Vice President of Sales at Gurkha Cigar Group, in a press release. “This is an unmatched delicacy U.S. customers will appreciate for its distinguished aromatic quality.”

Gurkha Cigar Group President, Jim Colucci, added, “The launch of the Dragonfly into the U.S. market is a landmark event for our luxury Tobacco collection. Gurkha couldn’t be more proud to present an innovative staple like the Dragonfly to new and seasoned cigar enthusiasts across the states.”

The PCA Trade Show will open on April 12, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The U.S. release of the Dragonfly is scheduled for after the PCA concludes.
