At the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Altadis U.S.A. introduced the Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua Heirloom Ceramic Jar. It’s a special, limited-edition commemorative jar containing ten Montecristo 1935 Anniversary No. 2 (52 x 6 1/8) cigars.
The jar can also be reused as a personal humidor, housing up to 20 Churchill-sized cigars.
Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua was initially released in 2020 to commemorate the brand’s 85th anniversary. Later in 2025, the brand will celebrate its 90th anniversary milestone.
“We aimed to create a timeless tribute to Montecristo’s rich legacy, while offering today’s discerning cigar enthusiasts a truly exceptional cigar and an exquisite, reusable ceramic jar,” says Marina Tuntes, Brand Manager at Altadis U.S.A. in a press release. “This heirloom ceramic jar is not only a functional personal humidor, but a beautifully crafted work of art designed to be proudly displayed in any setting. It reflects the heritage and sophistication of the Montecristo brand, and we believe it will resonate deeply with those who appreciate both the artistry of fine cigars and the elegance of a well-curated collector’s piece.”
In addition, a Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Diamante Heirloom Ceramic Jar will be sold exclusively at Casa de Montecristo retail locations.
The jars are expected to reach retailers before Father’s Day. Pricing for each unit is $255.00 SRP.
