At the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Rocky Patel Premium Cigars launched its Year of the Snake cigar. It’s the second Chinese Zodiac cigar from Rocky Patel following 2024’s Year of the Dragon.
The Year of the Snake features a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan Broadleaf binder. The fillers are from Nicaragua and Honduras. The cigar comes in one size – a 6 1/2 x 52 Toro. A total of 6,000 ten-count boxes were produced. Pricing is $35.00 per cigar.
In addition, Rocky Patel has introduced an alternate version of the Year of the Snake specifically for the international market. The primary distinction lies in the wrapper; the non-U.S. version utilizes a Nicaraguan Habano 2000 Oscuro wrapper, which contributes to a different taste and character. Rocky Patel notes that while the U.S. version delivers a medium to full-bodied smoking experience, the international variant is crafted to offer a more balanced, medium-bodied profile, catering to diverse palates worldwide.
The Year of the Snake is currently shipping to U.S. retailers.
