Forged Cigar Company has announced Alec Bradley Kintsugi Wabi Sabi. This will be a new, limited-edition line extension to the Alec Bradley Kintsugi line.

The original Kintsugi was a line developed by Alec and Bradley Rubin before the acquisition of Alec Bradley by Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG). It pays homage to the ancient Japanese art form of joining together ceramics with gold lacquer. Wabi-sabi is a Japanese concept that finds beauty in imperfection, impermanence, and simplicity. It’s a way of appreciating things that are modest, weathered, and unique, embracing the natural cycle of growth and decay. In a way, it extends the Kintsugi concept.

The original Kintsugi is produced at the Raíces Cubanas factory. In contrast, Kintsugi Wabi Sabi is crafted at the AJ Fernandez Cigar factory located in Estelí, Nicaragua. This blend showcases an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, complemented by a Mexican binder and a selection of fine Nicaraguan fillers.

“This blend is about appreciating the real,” said Bradley Rubin, Brand Ambassador for Alec Bradley, in a press release. “Wabi Sabi isn’t about flaws, it’s about honoring the character of the materials and the story they tell. We didn’t set out to chase perfection. We set out to create a cigar with soul, and what we found was something greater than the sum of its parts.”

Kintsugi Wabi Sabi is available in one size: a 6 x 52 Toro. A total of 1,500 16-count boxes were produced. Pricing comes in at $12.49 SRP/cigar. Shipping commences August 4, 2025.
