Packaging for the E.P. Carrillo Edición Limitada 2013

At the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show, E.P. Carrillo showcased the packaging around the E.P. Carrillo  Edición Limitada 2013.  The E.P. Carrillo Edicion Limitada has been a different blend each year done in one size for a one time release.

We spoke to Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr and he did confirm that the blend is still being finalized.  He did confirm to us that the Edición Limitada 2013 will use a Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper – which is the first time the company has been using that wrapper.  He mentioned a “good mix of stuff” with some Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos as a part of the blend.  The size of the cigar will be a toro and is expected to be a 6 1/4 x 54.

There will be 1500 boxes of produced of the E.P. Carrillo Edición Limitada 2013.  Each box will be individually numbered.  The box features a lacquered zebra-wood design.  It is also meant to be re-used as a humidor.
