Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition 2011 w bonus |
Don Pepin Garcia’s son Jaime Garcia is making his mark in the cigar industry. Last year’s release of the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial (my #14 Cigar of 2010) and the recent My Father Limited Edition 2011 (as well as great work on the Limited Edition 2010) are great examples of the work Jaime has been doing at My Father Cigars. It only seems fitting that a limited edition cigar be released with Jaime’s name on it. Thus, we have the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition 2011.
There will be only 3700 boxes made. Each box will include 15 cigars of the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition 2011 which contains a Nicaraguan Viso Wrapper. There will be a bonus cigar that includes a Connecticut Shade wrapper – that cigar is a glimpse into what the 2012 will be like. The 2011 edition is advertised as a full-strength, full-bodied smoke.
Here is a look at the particulars:
Blend Profile (2011)
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Broadleaf Viso
Binder: Nicaraguan Cuban-seed (including Pelo de Oro)
Filler: Nicaraguan Cuban-seed (including Pelo de Oro)
As mentioned the bonus cigar features a Connecticut shade wrapper.
Vitolas Available
There will be a single vitola made – it will be a 6 1/2 x 52 Toro.
Stay tuned for more information as I will document my experience with this in the near future.
