Rocky Patel Premium Cigars will be launching a new cigar that will be available exclusively in Rocky Patel sponsored lounges.   The cigar will be called “Burn by Rocky Patel”.   This information was revealed on the Feburary 4th, Cigar Dave show.

Burn by Rocky Patel is also the name of the Rocky Patel sponsored lounge located in Naples, Florida.   The Burn by Rocky Patel cigar will only be made in that lounge as well as 25 Rocky Patel sponsored cigar lounges nationwide.   The launch date is being targeted for March 1st, 2012.  A pre-release launch will take place the week before at Cigar Cave in Palm Harbor, Florida (which is a Rocky Patel lounge)

The cigar will be a “square press”.   It will feature an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and proprietary binder and filler from Nicaragua.  Patel described the binder as from a non-traditional cigar tobacco producing country.

 There are three vitolas that will be available:

Robusto: 5 × 50 – $152.00 SRP/box of 20
Toro: 6 × 52 – $162.00 SRP/box of 20
Titan: 8 1/2 x 60 – $186.00 SRP/box of 20

Update: 2/25/12:  The 2/4/12 cigar Dave show announced the wrapper was Ecuadorian Habano.  On a subsequent Cigar Dave Show with Rocky Patel as a guest, the wrapper was revealed to be Ecuadorian Sumatra and not Ecuadorian Habano.  Also included vitola information made available.
