In what is turning out to be a busy 2012 IPCPR, Rocky Patel Premium Cigars has announced the Freedom by Rocky Patel.  This is one of six new releases scheduled by the company at the 2012 IPCPR.

It can be assumed that the Freedom by Rocky Patel has a connection to Patel’s dedication to fighting for cigar rights.  Over the past year, Patel has devoted considerable energy and resources to fighting for the right to enjoy a cigar.  We had an opportunity to talk to Patel about this in a cigar conversation we did.

The plan is for the Freedom by Rocky Patel to ship to retailers on August 31st.

The company did not give specifics on the origins of the cigar components.   What is reported on the spec is “Oscuro wrapper combined with a variety of Nicaraguan tobaccos”.
