Viaje Oro Collector’s Edition (2012) |
At the 2012 IPCPR Trade Show, Viaje Cigars’ Founder Andre Farkas showed us his special vitola being added to his Viaje Oro line, the Viaje Oro Collector’s Edition.
Farkas described the Collector’s Edition to provide a special cigar for those cigar and Viaje enthusiasts who like to keep special cigars. The plan is for the Collector’s Edition to be “one and done” – meaning once the cigars are gone, they are gone. However, Farkas said he plans on future Collector’s Editions. These future Collector’s Editions would create a special vitola based on one of his already existing lines. The offering will be in an unorthodox shaped perfecto.
Earlier this year, Farkas announced that the Oro and Platino lines would become small batch lines like the other lines in his series. Previously the Oro and Platino lintes were regular production lines.
Farkas also told us that there is also a new batch being released for the Oro. This will include three vitolas including a new corona size called the Divino. The other vitolas in this release series are the Fuerza (Toro) and Delicado (Toro)
