Viaje Satori 2012 |
At the 2012 IPCPR, Viaje Founder Andre Farkas unveiled his third iteration of the Satori Series – the Viaje Satori 2012.
Farkas said there were no major changes made to the blend from the Satori 2011. The difference is in the vitolas and packaging. While the three vitolas are the same size, the Zen (Perfecto) now is no longer box-pressed while the parejo-shaped Karma (Robusto) and Nirvana (Toro) are now box-pressed.
From a packaging standpoint, Viaje has added a secondary band to the Satori 2012 which says “Edicion Limitada”
The Satori 2011, which uses a San Andres wrapper was our #13 Cigar of the Year for 2011. In 2010, the original Oscuro wrapper Satori 2010 was our #3 Cigar of the Year. Farkas told us he feels this is the best release of the Satori to date.
