Crowned Heads has announced their first limited edition cigar.   The
cigar will be a blend variation of the Four Kicks blend and will be
called “Four Kicks
Mule Kick Limited Edition 2012”.  The story was first reported through Cigar Aficionado magazine.

The article mentions two differentiating factors to the Mule Kick.  The first is that
the Mule Kick will use a darker version of Ecuadorian Habano wrapper
that is found on the original Four Kicks cigar.  Secondly, there will also be some
additional ligero incorporated into the blend as well.  The cigar will
be released in one size – a toro-sized 5 7/8 x 52 vitola.   The cigars
will be packaged ten per a box and will have an SRP of $8.95.  Like the
original Four Kicks and the new Headley Grange, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo
will be the blender for the Mule Kick.

The original
Four Kicks was the first cigar for Crowned Heads as it was launched in
November, 2011 with four vitolas.  It has proven to be a very successful line.   Since
then, two vitolas have been added, the Four Kicks Seleccion No. 5
(a 6 1/2 x 44 lonsdale) and the Robusto Extra (a 5 1/2 x 56 sized
vitola).  The Robusto Extra was launched at the 2012 IPCPR Trade Show.
Crowned Heads also launched their new Headley Grange blend at the trade
show.

According to the article, the plans are for the
Mule Kick to reach retailers in November.  No words on quantities have
been released at this time.
