E.P. Carrillo has quietly unveiled its fourth annual “Edicion Limitada” called the E.P. Carrillo Edicion Limitada 2012. Details of the cigar have begun surfacing at retailers.
The E.P. Carrillo Edicion Limitada has been a different blend each year done in one size. For the second year in a row, the Edicion Limitada will be a 6 1/2 x 56 vitola.
The launch of the E.P. Carrillo Edicion Limitada marks the company’s sixth blend of the calendar year of 2012 joining the E.P. Carrillo NWC Short Run 2012, E.P. Carrillo Inch Natural, E.P. Carrillo Inch Maduro, E.P. Carrillo Cardinal Natural, and the E.P. Carrillo Cardinal Maduro. The company also released a retail exclusive blend to Atlantic Cigar called the E.P. Carrillo Atlantic 15th Anniversary Toro.
The E.P. Carrillo Edicion Limitada 2012 will be packaged 10 cigars per box with a total of 1500 boxes produced. With the exception of the E.P. Carrillo Edicion Limitada 2010 (which became the E.P. Carrillo Elencos line), the Edicion Limitada has been a “one and done” release.

The blend for the 2012 again features a dark oscuro colored wrapper. This year, the wrapper is Connecticut Broadleaf
