The Cigar Week Wrap is a one stop place to catch up on the activity here at Cigar Coop.  It is a combination of our news reports, cigar reviews, and assessment updates we do throughout the week.  We will throw in a few bonus items from time to time as well. Our intent is to publish once a week on Saturday mornings.

Cigar News and Previews

• Alec Bradley: A week after its initial announcement, Alec Bradley is renaming its candela Black Market Cigar to the Alec Bradley Black Market Filthy Hooligan.
• Avo:  A teaser was put out on Facebook on the Avo Limited Edition 2013.
• Cojimar:  A press release on the Earth Supernatural.
• Cuenca Cigars: A press release on Hollywood, Florida retailer’s exclusive Cuenca 5 cigar launch party.
• Emilio Cigars: Brand developer Gary Griffith posted a QR Code on facebook which translated to the text “Coming soon from Emilio Cigars: The Disseminators.  Be prepared.”  No further information has been made available.
• Espinosa Cigars: On the Stogie 411 show (Episode 46), Erik Espinosa indicated there is an Espinosa Maduro in the works as well as potential limited edition projects.  He indicated the Espinosa Maduro will be out in a “couple of months” and feature both round and box-press frontmarks.
• Hispaniola Cigars:  A press release announcing the release of Turei Cigars.
• Illusione: Information about the forthcoming Illusione Rothchildes line.
• La Aurora Cigars / Miami Cigar and Company: Pictures were posted on facebook of box-press line extensions to the Guillermo Leon Signature and Fernando Leon Family Reserve lines.
• MUWAT:  Drew Estate Chairman Jonathan Drew was in Charlotte, North Carolina for the launch of the My Uzi Weighs a Ton (MUWAT) Digital Son 6.  This is a retail-exclusive cigar to Outland Cigars.  We had the first pre-release review of this cigar last month.
• Nat Sherman: Tequila Avion & Nat Sherman Cigars Offer Pairing Experience.
• Oliva: A new sampler pack of unique blends and sizes will now be circulating around events.
• Rocky Patel Premium Cigars:  Informaion in Cigar Aficionado has been reported on the new Rocky Patel II.XXVI cigar.
• S.A.G. Imports: On the 1/19/13 edition of Kiss My Ash Radio, Manual Quesada confirmed there is a project in the works for the 40th Anniversary (2014) of MATASA, but did not disclose any details.  Also, a new cigar for Smoke Inn’s MicroBlend Series is slated to come from the MATASA factory.
