Holt’s Cigar Company, a retailer based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has announced that a special version of My Father Cigars’ Flor de las Antillas will be available as a part of its Pepin Mania III Sampler Pack.  This release is unique in that it is the first rounded cigar in the Flor de las Antillas line – and it is also being released in a Short Churchill format.  These will be available at an event at Holt’s Cigar Company being held on June 13 and June 14 2013.

Pepin Mania III marks the third consecutive year the event has been held.  Each year, the event has featured Don Pepin Garcia, Jaime Garcia,  Janny Garcia, and Pete Johnson.   In past year’s events, a sampler pack of unreleased cigars has been made available with a box purchase at the event.

The Flor de las Antillas is a Nicaraguan puro that was released by My Father Cigars in 2012.  It was launched in four sizes – each in a box-press version.  The Pepin Mania III version marks the first time a rounded version will be made available.  The size is a Short Churchill measuring 6 1/2 x 48. The box-press robusto cigar scored a 92 on Cigar Coop, and the toro size is well-known for being Cigar Aficionado’s #1 Cigar of the Year for 2012.
