Arandoza Cigars, has announced its initial offering, the Arandoza Blue will receive new banding.  Information on this change was received via a press release to Cigar Coop.

In describing thew new packaging, the company stated: “Arandoza announces the ‘rebirth” of the Arandoza Blue with a new bold label representing the strong foundation of this Cigar Family.  It’s bold taste, yet smooth finish, is a well known flavor in this industry.”

The new banding is also similar to the banding on a new upcoming release by Arandoza called the Arandoza White.  A new primary band had been added to the cigar.  The cigar will now also feature a footer band indicating the name “Blue”.  It is expected that the new packaging will be showcased at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show this July in Las Vegas.

Arandoza Cigars was founded by Robert Arango back in 2011.  The company prides itself on being family owned and operated.  For the Arandoza Blue Label, Arango has teamed up with Erik Espinosa and his La Zona factory to produce the cigar.

The Arandoza Blue is a Nicaraguan puro that features a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper.  It is available in four sizes: Robusto  (5 x 52), Toro (6 x 52), Torpedo (6 x 52), and Trabuco (6 x 60).

Back in May, we assessed the Arandoza Blue in the Robusto vitola and scored it a 90.
