REINADO Cigars is expanding its REINADO Grand Empire Reserve Premium Collection line.   Antionio Lam, CEO of Cubanero Enterprises and REINADO and Cubanero Enterprises has been throwing many teasers out about potential line extensions.   In a press release provided to Cigar Coop by REINADO Cigars, it was confirmed that three line extensions would be added to the Grand Empire Reserve line.

The three line extensions bring the total number of vitolas in the REINADO Grand Empire Reserve Premium Collection to four:

Limited Edition Petite Lancero: 6 x 38
Corona Gorda: 5 5/8 x 46
Toro: 6 x 52
Box-Press Robusto: 5 x 55

It was at the 2012 IPCPR Trade Show where REINADO introduced the Grand Empire Reserve in the 5 x 55 soft Box-Press Robusto.  This was the company’s second blend and launched in one size in a Nicaraguan puro.   The cigar scored a 92 on Cigar Coop and was an Honorable Mention on our 2012 Cigar of the Year list.

“In the 11 short months since its introduction, the response tothe Grand Empire Reserve has been tremendous—and we wanted to further serve our customers with additional sizes,” said Lam,  “We are delighted that pre-releases of our new sizes are receiving exceptional reviews and 90+ ratings,” said Lam. Like the original 5 x 55 soft box pressed Grand Empire Reserve Robusto, all sizes are Nicaraguan puros hand rolled from premium tobacco aged up to five years using REINADO’s distinctive and signature fermentation process.”

Back on July 9th, we named REINADO one of our “Five Boutiques to Watch” for 2013.  Much of this was around the success of the Grand Empire Reserve line, plus the anticipation of the line extensions.
