Alec Bradley Cigars has announced the Raices Cubanas 1941 cigar. The cigar is named for the famed Raices Cubanas factory in Danli, Honduras. This the the same factory that makes many cigars in the Alec Bradley portfolio. The cigar is anticipated to be launched at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show.
In an article in the 7/9/13 Cigar Insider, the cigar is described as more of a collaborative effort between Alec Bradley and the factory. The 1941 is the year that Romay Endemano, the person who runs Raices Cubanas was born.
No blend details were disclosed at this time, but according to Cigar Insider the cigar will be Robusto (5 1/4 x 52), Toro (6 x 54), Churchill (7 x49), and Gordo (6 x 60).
The Raices Cubanas joins the recently announced Alec Bradley Mundial as cigars lauched for 2013 by Alec Bradley.
