The trend of regional releases by Miami Cigar and Company continues. The company confirmed a limited edition lancero to its La Aurora 107 Maduro line is coming to the Southeastern United States. The La Aurora Maduro Lancero – a.k.a “Bowtie” will be heading to retailers based in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama.
The Bowtie becomes the fourth regional release by Miami Cigar and Company in 2013. The name is derived from the Southeast territory’s sales representative Austin Baker, who is known to frequently sport a bowtie.
The Bowtie joins other regional releases including: the La Aurora 107 Fraternindad heading to the Texarkana region; the La Aurora Preferidos Diamond Chicho’s Choice – a parejo shaped version of the Preferidos Diamond released to six eastern U.S. states, and the Nestor Miranda Special Selection Exclusivo Regional released to the midwest U.S.
Earlier this year, the La Aurora 107 Maduro made its way to retailer shelves. This had been a long awaited extension to the La Aurora 107 brand. The Robusto vitola scored a 90 on Cigar Coop in May, 2013.
At a glance, here is a look at the La Aurora 107 Maduro line.

Nice review. This cigar has a lot of timbered characteristics in the taste profile and a nice spice through the nose.
