La Flor Dominicana has announced an interactive, virtual cigar experience program called “A Night in Santiago”.  The program is designed to take cigar enthusiasts on a “virtual journey” to Santiago, Dominican Republic and the La Flor Dominicana farm and factory.  The program will be launched at Corona Cigar Company at their Sand Lake Location on February 18th, 2014 with a second event the following day at Corona’s Lake Mary location.  Further events will take place throughout the year.

The event will feature the event only La Flor Dominicana Mystery Cigar, that was introduced in 2013, which will also be available for purchase.    The cigar was a 6 1/2 x 44 box-pressed maduro lonsdale with undisclosed blend information – although it has been said to have some ligero from the La Flor Dominicana’s La Canela farm.  This cigar scored a 91 on Cigar Coop in March of 2013.

“We are proud of where and how we produce our cigars and our infrastructure that allows us to consistently deliver distinctly unique premium cigars for smokers to enjoy. ” says Jonathan M. Carney, Vice President of Sales “A Night in Santiago is our way for us to take cigar smokers on a special journey from cigar to seed and share this with them.”
