Padilla Cigar Company is planning to release a new line called Padilla Cava.  This line will feature a focus on larger ring gauge cigars as three of the four planned vitolas will have a 60 ring gauge.  Information on this new line was reported in the 4/1/14 Cigar Insider and a 4/3/14 article by Cigar Aficionado.

According to the article, the cigars will be made at Oliva Cigar Company’s Tabacalera Olivaa factory.  Oliva already makes several of Padilla’s lines and is also a distributor for Padilla.

The Padilla Cava is being targeted for release around the time of the 2014 IPCPR Trade Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
