As a part of our 2/1/14 Cigar Industry Report, we noted an appearance that Alec Bradley President Alan Rubin made on Kiss My Ashio Radio. During that segment we noted that Rubin had mentioned that there was a new Family Blend in the works. This past week, the company has announced the Alec Bradley Family Blend – The Lineage. Information on this announcement was first reported by Cigar Aficionado, and confirmed on the company’s Facebook page.
The article mentions that the line pays homage to Rubin’s sons Alec and Bradley, for whom the company name was derived. Both sons are now of legal age to enjoy a premium cigar in most states.
The original Family Blend was released in 2009 and was meant to honor the father’s of company principals Alan Rubin, Ralph Montero, and George Sosa. The new Family Blend Lineage represents an entirely new blend.
The company said on their Facebook page they expect Lineage to hit the shelves by late May, 2014.
At a glance here is a look at Alec Bradley’s Family Blend – The Lineage as initially reported by Cigar Aficionado.
