Less than a month after the company announced its first 70 ring gauge cigar, Alec Bradley has announced the second. The Alec Bradley Texas Lancero will be another 7 x 70 release and is expected to hit stores nationwide in mid June.
While Alec Bradley made the announcement on their Facebook page, Cigar Aficionado broke the story and provided some additional context. The cigar will feature a pig-tail – in a similar manner of a classic lancero, but obviously not sharing the ring gauge. The cigar will be packaged in 50 count boxes. Specific details of the blend were not disclosed other than that the Texas Lancero will use a mix of Costa Rican, Honduran and Nicaraguan tobacco. The cigar is being made at Plasencia TDO in Honduras.
The Texas Lancero will have an SRP of $8.00
The Texas Lancero joins the Alec Bradley Family Blend Lineage 770 that was announced earlier this month.
