As Warped Cigar’s founder Kyle Gellis is getting prepared to release his El Oso line, he is already taking a look to the future. Gellis has confirmed with Cigar Coop / Stogie Geeks that a new lancero project that will be an extension to the El Oso line called “El Oso MaMa” is being planned for the 2014 IPCPR Trade Show.
According to Gellis, the El Oso MaMa will use a different wrapper than the Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper on the other two vitolas in the line. The wrapper will be a San Andres wrapper.
The El Oso MaMa will be a 7 x 38 lancero and be packaged in ten count boxes.
El Oso which means “The Bear” is the latest project from Warped Cigars. The company is about to release the first two vitolas in that line – the El Oso PaPa (Belicoso) and the El Oso Cub. Those two cigars. Those cigars are being made at El Titan de Bronze in Miami, Florida.
Update 6/23/14: Added wrapper type.
