At the 2014 IPCPR Trade Show, E.P. Carrillo added two line extensions to its E-Stunner line. As we previously reported, the E-Stunner Limousin introduced a 6 x 60 vitola into the line. The company is now also adding a 6 x 52 toro-sized vitola known as the E-Stunner Taurus. These two will be the longest cigars in the line.
When the E-Stunner line was introduced last year, it was designed to be a full-bodied, full-flavored cigar. It also introduced new packaging that was meant to be contemporary. The line very much has a western theme associated with it. Each of the vitola names have a western / cattle theme associated with it.
Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’ Jr’s children, Ernesto III and Lissette played a key role in developing the blend. The wrapper features a higher priming Sumatra wrapper. Instead of an 80/20 ratio of Dominican to Nicaraguan filler normally found in the E.P. Carrillo blends, this incorporates a 50/50 plot.
At a glance, here is a look at the E-Stunner line.
